I loathe English for several reasons, inclusive of being a mono-lingual no sabo kid. This language has always lacked what I wanted and craved for communicating. I am always always reading because I am always hunting down new words and patterns and categories to try to say what I feel. But this language does not reach what I feel.
I think this is why music and movement became such important tools for expression to me at the ages they did. I think this is why, though I crave change, 13 year old me had 10 songs on Limewire and an impressive amount of replays, aka the soundtrack to pre-pubescence screamed out in post-punk rock pain.
